SFO Terminal 2

San Francisco International Airport
San Francisco, CA

MCK provided Construction Management services as part of the T2 Partners team at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). MCK led the Civil Works and MEP and tenant improvements. With the need to accommodate growth in passenger traffic, SFO broke ground on this $383M project in September 2008, with the goal to renovate the facility into a state-of-the-art domestic terminal. The 575,000 square foot terminal houses 12 restaurants, nine retail stores, a gourmet marketplace, 14 gates, major works of public art and a pedestrian bridge to the AirTran, which connects to Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART). The facility achieved LEED Gold marking it the first terminal in U.S. to achieve status at the time.
