San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department
San Francisco, CA

Sitting atop the hill with easy access to some of San Francisco’s most visited neighborhoods like Duboce Triangle, The Castro and Ashbury Heights sits the Randall Museum, owned and operated by the San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department with the support of the Randall Friends. With a focus on learning - science, nature and the arts, the museum features several exhibits of live native and domestic animals and interactive displays about nature. MCK provided cost estimating and constructability services on museum improvements featuring new geology and zoology exhibits, a new science lab, a new elevator, as well as the renovation of the live animal exhibit, a classroom, restrooms, first floor lobby, and concession area. Construction budget was $8 Million.
