San Francisquito Creek Flood Reduction & Ecosystem Restoration Project

This project for Santa Clara Valley Water District involved the construction of a setback levee within the City of Palo Alto Golf Course and Baylands Athletic Center and removing the existing levee on the south side of the creek. In order to accomplish this, the project excavated soil against the flood walls, installed fencing, restored portions of a school playground, converted portions of a bridge, constructed a boardwalk and installed erosion control plans on new levee slopes.
