China Basin Park & McCovey Cove

MCK served as the Owner’s Representative, Project Manager and Construction Manager to the San Francisco Giants for the development of the park tourist attraction, Barry Bond’s T-Ball field and Giants Team History Walk. The History Walk includes a statue of Hall-of-Famer Willie McCovey. MCK played a major role in the design of the special elements and guided the project to a timely opening attended by the Mayor and past baseball greats. The project was torn down as part of the 2024 Mission Bay Redevelopment Project and rebuilt. The original Wille McCovey Statue can still be observed today in similar spot.
